VRT Zomerhit - Recordings at the Pier 2025

VRT Zomerhit brings music, atmosphere and spectacle to the seaside every summer! In Blankenberge, the recordings take place on the event beach next to the iconic Pier – the perfect setting for sultry summer evenings filled with live performances and famous artists.

What to expect during VRT Zomerhit in Blankenberge?

• Free Entry: Everyone is welcome! From 18:30 the area in front of the stage opens, recordings start around 20:45 and last until approximately 22:30.
• Summer Performances: Twenty artists compete for the coveted Zomerhit trophy. The line-up changes each evening and is announced shortly in advance on VRT MAX.
• Live and Pre-recorded Shows: Attend recordings on Monday 28 July, Tuesday 29 July, Monday 4 August and Tuesday 5 August 2025. The grand live final takes place on Saturday 30 August 2025.
• Famous Faces: Niels Destadsbader and Siska Schoeters present the shows from the beach – you might spot them or another Flemish star up close!
• Zomervip Experience: Superfan? Experience Zomerhit from the front row as a Zomervip!
