With kids in Blankenberge

Whether you are a parent, grandparent or babysitter: Blankenberge is a wonderful destination for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.

• Playing on the beach: children never get bored on the beach, with shell hunting, building sandcastles, flying kites and paddling.
• Catching crabs: with a net and a bucket, children search for crabs and shrimps at low tide; the tide table shows when the tide is out.
• Into nature: explore the area together on a walk or a bike ride through dunes, woods and polders.
• By Coast Tram: the Kusttram runs along the entire Belgian coast, from De Panne to Knokke-Heist, and a ride is an outing in itself for children.
• When it rains: if the weather lets you down, choose from the museums and attractions, and keep an eye on the weather forecast.
