Two days full of giants, music and gezelligheid
Highlight: The Great Giants Parade on Saturday: The impressive giants procession, which sets off at 15:00 from the church towards the Zeedijk and the Marktplein. A colourful parade with more than fifty giants from home and abroad, accompanied by brass bands and musical ensembles.
Food and arts market on Sunday: From 11:00 to 21:00, you can stroll past stalls filled with regional delicacies, art and brocante.
Children’s entertainment and traditional games: Children can enjoy face painting, stilt walkers and traditional folk games – all close to the beach!
Cultural heritage: Since 1986, the giants of Wenduine – Louw, Wanne, Scuteman and Pol de Kruwer – have brought folklore to life each year, recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage.
Free and accessible: The whole festive two-day event takes place in public spaces and is freely accessible to everyone.
