Westerstaketsel - Observation point

The Westerstaketsel in Blankenberge is a lovely place to get some fresh sea air and enjoy the view over the North Sea, the beach and the harbour channel. From this pier, you also have a fine view of the opposite Oosterstaketsel.

• Location: The Westerstaketsel is located on the southern side of the harbour channel in Blankenberge, close to the beach and the harbour.
• Combine with the Oosterstaketsel: A visit to the Westerstaketsel is easy to combine with a walk along the harbour channel, the beach and the Oosterstaketsel. In season, a small ferry boat normally also operates between both sides of the harbour channel, from the Easter holidays until the end of September and only in suitable weather.
